In May 2016, the STUCO printing company became marcolor. Marc Thullen is not only the namesake, but also the owner and managing director of the newly founded marcolor GmbH & Co. KG. He has been working in STUCO's print shop for 14 years, has continuously expanded his expertise over the years and was promoted to head of the print shop department in 2013. His identification with the print shop is so strong that his next step can only go in one direction: He takes over the printing division of STUCO in order to merge it into marcolor GmbH & Co. KG as a completely independent company.
We accompanied the transition from STUCO to marcolor from the very beginning. Our joint collaboration began with the conception and development of the claim "consult. print inspire". This was followed by the development of the complete CI, including the design of the unique logo with a butterfly as the figurative mark.
Even before the website was launched, our advertising agency for web design and communication developed a concept to publicise the takeover to STUCO's existing customers. Several newsletters and a postcard were used to publicise the takeover.
The design, development and content of the newsletter came from new media labs. The postcard came in the form of a postcard sticker, the design and content came from us, the printing of course from marcolor!
In the area of content marketing, we also supported the print shop in other areas. These included the creation of an image text, blog posts and some texts for the website.
Parallel to the steps mentioned above, the design and development of the website was created. The system is based on WordPress, and all content can be easily edited thanks to the CMS system. The site is optimised for all end devices and search engines. We also support our customer with Google Adwords.
Just in time for the market launch, the design of some print products was also on the agenda, including business cards, business stationery, customer documents, stamps and notepads.
