Our voice against sexism
Judging a person differently because of their gender is wrong. There is no grey area here either. We make no distinctions and cannot understand why people are categorised differently because of their gender.
Nobody is perfect and we don't want to point the finger at anyone. The point is that we are all doing our best to develop our society. It makes no sense that women earn less than men. It makes no sense that women are less likely to be appointed to leading roles than men.
Women are repeatedly subjected to sexist attacks and discrimination. Deeply rooted in our society, sexist remarks are drowned out by everyday talk and are simply part of normality. What can you do about it? Pay attention, question and speak up! Do you notice sexist remarks? Ask the person you are talking to what exactly they mean and explain why this statement is inappropriate.
Don't get us wrong: we are in favour of equal rights. But the issue of sexism is particularly burning in relation to women. We take a clear stance against sexism and mental and physical abuse of people based on their gender.
