The To Do in your head 🧠
We all love ticking off checklists and getting things done. An important awareness exercise is also a great motivational boost for you: Consciously tick off the first few to-dos in your head. Get up in the morning? Check! Brush your teeth? Check! Take a shower? Check! Completed to-do items motivate you to tick more boxes. Try it out!
Eat the frog 🐸
We've already mentioned it in one of our posts. The fact that we're mentioning it again just shows how important this strategy is. Eat the froh is about doing the most unpleasant, challenging task of your day first thing in the morning! Why? Because if you put it off all day, you won't be able to concentrate and you'll be unhappy. Eating the frog for breakfast, on the other hand, will give you a huge boost of motivation for your day!
Simply start 🚀
Another important motivational tip is also a super simple one: just get started. You need to develop a website but can't motivate yourself? Why don't you start by styling the headlines, embedding fonts, adding a favicon or something similar. You'll see, once you've started, the rest will follow by itself!
The big picture 🏡
Realise why you should be motivated for your task. Are you a bricklayer? You're not just building a wall. You're building a house! A home, a company. Are you the owner of a pizzeria? You don't just bake pizza. You feed people, you make guests happy, you look after their well-being.
