Promises Kept is a modern hardcore band with old school roots, whose members came together in Trier, Wittlich and Piesport on the beautiful Moselle. If you do some research you will discover: None other than our owner Steven is on the microphone. It would have been inappropriate for him to be without a band, given his passion for underground music.
The band has been shaking up the local hardcore scene since 2012. Their debut LP Crossroads transported personal lyrics on a powerful wave of energy through a profound sea of melancholy. In 2015, the band even went one better with the EP Shame!
Promises Kept are inspired by bands like Hundredth or Counterparts, but their music still has its very own character. Everything the guys produce is created in DIY style. Their music is the result of a symbiosis of the band members' heads, hands and hearts. Driven by pure passion, all songs can be downloaded for free from bandcamp and selected partners.
The boys have already shared the stage with bands such as Napoleon, Canvas, In Archives, Band, Wolf Down and Code Orange.
Designing for your own project is always a big challenge. With a certain level of demand and ambition, it is difficult to satisfy yourself. And yet we have managed to provide Promises Kept with work of the usual high quality.
All of the band's artwork was created by us. This includes the cover of the LP Crossroads, the artwork for the two EPs Shame and Holding On as well as the cover of the single Citizenfour. We also designed the logo, several T-shirt designs and the band's backdrop.
To publicise concerts and releases, we designed several flyers, posters and social media banners. We also designed stickers so that visitors to shows can take a little something home with them.
During the video shoot for Fearless, we did a photo shoot with the band.
