Do you take photos? 📷📸
We show you how to take better photos with simple tips - also suitable for smartphones 📱
Tip 1: Get moving! 🏃♂️
Change your perspective so that you're not just taking pictures from the front. You will notice how the subject changes. Move to the side, upwards, downwards. Just try everything out. Do you want to photograph people or animals? Try getting your camera or smartphone at eye level with your subject. This usually results in a much more exciting and beautiful photo than one taken from above or below.
Tip 2: Dare to try things out 💪
In our tips, we deliberately do not go into the countless rules that need to be observed when composing an image. Rule of thirds, line management... All things that are important. But first of all it's about developing a feeling. By trying things out, you will quickly realise what works well and when a subject is perfectly positioned. Rules are there to be broken! So: Have the courage
Tip 3: "Between 11 and 3 the photographer has a holiday!" ☀️
There is a lot of truth in this saying, because the midday sun can create unsightly, harsh shadows due to vertical sunlight. Use the "golden hour" of the morning and evening sun! Here the light is beautifully radiant and warm, creating a very special picture atmosphere.
Tip 4: Cloudy skies 🌥️
A cloudy sky is the ideal beauty retouch. It acts as a natural soft focus and makes the skin appear more even. What's more, a cloudy sky looks super exciting and atmospheric as a background in photos. Try it out
Tip 5: Edit your photos 🖌️
Download apps such as Lightroom Mobile or the VSCO app to your smartphone and try out the controls. You can also get a lot out of smartphone photos.
