Annetta Vontenie and Jeroen Bauer had a dream. After many years in international management, the physiotherapist and sports physiologist simply wanted to do something completely different. Their Villa Vontenie in the beautiful Kyll Valley, right at the foot of Ramstein Castle, is something very special. And indeed "something completely different".
Villa Vontenie is not a hotel as we know it. No impersonal reception with key and room handover. No highly polished and slick standards. Instead, the hotel stands for a sense of togetherness and well-being among guests, owners and the small, family-run team. The Kräuterhotel feels much more like a home than a temporary, functional accommodation. A place to simply switch off from the world around you.
In addition to a restaurant, 18 guest rooms and a large terrace with a view over the Kyll valley, the villa also has a seminar centre.
Annetta Vontenie and Jeroen Bauer call it a herbal hotel, as the hotel symbolises a lifestyle in which health, nature, sport and sustainability play an important role. Herbs are used in many different ways at the villa: freshly cooked menus, herbal stamp massages or fresh mint teas and herbal smoothies round off the overall picture.
We have accompanied Mrs Vontenie and Mr Bauer's dream from the very beginning. We created a friendly and familiar web design that appropriately conveys the feeling of Villa Vontenie. The website is based on WordPress as a CMS and Visual Composer, so that the couple can customise all content quickly and without in-depth knowledge. The site is responsive and works on all devices.
In addition to the logo and corporate identity of the villa, we also designed business cards. In a photo shoot, we photographed and captured all the beautiful aspects of Villa Vontenie.
