Betray Your Idols are friends. The guys from Ahrweiler near Bonn have been successfully running a band between melodic hardcore and punk for over 10 years. Anyone who has experienced the band live will understand why the friendship aspect is mentioned first. The familial feeling between the band members spreads to the whole room within seconds. No other band gives you the feeling of being at home among friends at a concert like Betray Your Idols.
Their songs are driving, rousing and anthemic. The wonderfully raspy voice of singer Phil is underpinned by powerful basses and carried by endlessly beautiful melodies. Goosebumps are pre-programmed!
2016 was Betray Your Idols' 10th birthday year. The guys celebrated with a big tour with over 10 dates and the release of their EP Broken Arrows. As the passion for their music takes centre stage, the EP was released as a free download. A limited physical version in a digipak was available at the band's shows.
Betray Your Idols have played countless concerts with Promises Kept, The Pariah, First Blood, Napoleon, Canvas, Empty Handed and In Archives, among others.
We are also passionate about creativity, work with our hearts and hands and love music. For Betray Your Idols, we designed the artwork for their EP Broken Arrows in addition to various T-shirt designs. We designed a beautiful digipak that was produced in a limited edition.
A backdrop created by us, a banner that is displayed in the background during the band's performances, provides the perfect stage setting. We regularly design tour posters and flyers so that everyone knows where they can catch the boys live. We also use social media such as Facebook and Instagram. Here we provide the band with cover pictures and avatars.
